BREW YORK, BREW YORK

by

The summer’s already halfway over, but you can drown your sorrows at this massive tasting event. Tonight, Edible Manhattan presents the 6th Annual Good Beer, bringing together dozens of local breweries, cideries, and restaurants at 82 Mercer, a rustic-chic SoHo event space. Expect bites like mac & cheese croquettes with red pepper relish and Andouille sausage with pickled corn, which you can wash down with drafts from New York state purveyors like Blue Point, Greenport Harbor Brewery, and Bad Seed Cider Company. Other vendors include hot spots like Northern Spy Food Co. and Brooklyn’s Palo Santo—we imagine its eclectic Latin dishes would pair well with one of Dogfish Head’s offbeat brews. Almond NYC gives you a dessert and drink in one shot with their oatmeal and ice cream Guinness float.
