Can You Film OnlyFans Content in an Airbnb?

It’s fairly common for OnlyFans creators to rent hotels, apartments, or even mansions to film content. The “Bop House” is a creator house founded by 20-year-old Sophie Rain and 22-year-old Aishah Sofey. The house is really a rented luxury Miami mansion where the eight women whose ages range from 18 to 22 live together and collaborate to create content. And in addition to that mansion that is their primary residence, they also have rented other houses in Florida.

But while the Bop House girls haven’t had any issues with renting properties — at least that we know of — other OnlyFans creators haven’t been as lucky.

Lily Phillips, a controversial OnlyFans porn star who is constantly in the headlines for her sex stunts, was banned from Airbnb after using the platform to rent a location for her 100-man sex challenge late last year. The owner of the Airbnb she rented was not happy to learn that his home had been used for that purpose, saying: “We have been made aware of this now. Unfortunately, we did not know anything about what she had done in the flat and there was no sign of anything in the flat when she left. We only found out a couple of days ago. We have no further comment.”

It seems that the big issue here is that Philips wasn’t upfront about the purpose of the rental, while other creators seem to discuss with the property owners why they are renting these decadent locations.

Another OnlyFans creator is facing a similar dilemma as Phillips, except this time the Airbnb host is alleging that Layla Kelly destroyed the value of the property by posting illicit photos on OnlyFans.

Kelly claims that the house was hardly identifiable in her images, and that the photos were not explicit — they were just of her in lingerie and were fairly innocent compared to most content on the platform.

She also mentioned that she never wanted to cause trouble while staying there, believing the lingerie and risqué photos she posted were innocent at best. When asked about the drama, she said: “I respect that the owner doesn’t want content like that made on his property. But it’s a bit of a reach to say that I’ve devalued it.”

In fact, she argues that her use of the Airbnb location may even add value: “some of my fans would deliberately book into an Airbnb that I’ve stayed in just to say they’ve been in the same place.”

While Kelly doesn’t seem to be facing a platform-wide ban from Airbnb like Phillips did, she is facing a different kind of consequence. It seems the unhappy host has been harassing her online. The OnlyFans star has over 170,000 followers on Instagram and has been forced to block him on all platforms because of his constant messaging.

The lesson to be learned from these creators is that trying to create content in rented places can be risky. The best course of action as an OnlyFans creator is to get consent from the host or owner first, preferably in writing, so you can avoid any of these headaches.
