While Sophie Rain makes headlines for her jaw-dropping earnings from OnlyFans, the subscription-based platform, Camilla Araujo (her former roommate at the Bop House) is making her own millions to less fanfare.
Araujo, who co-founded the Bop House and is a social media influencer even beyond OnlyFans, appeared on Adin Ross’ livestream early this year and casually admitted that she was generating between $1.5 to $2 million monthly from her OnlyFans account. Ross was joined by Araujo and rapper DDG, and it’s clear the two men had no idea how much Araujo was making when the topic came up.
The livestream was normal for Ross, with lots of joking and idle chit chat, until Ross asked Araujo how much she actually made on OnlyFans. While she tried to avoid the answer, she was very relaxed when she announced, “I’m going to generate about $1.5 to $2 million a month.”
The two men froze, and that’s when the meme-worthy reactions happened. Ross’s eyes went wide, and DDG looked shocked. That’s when Ross exclaimed: “Yo, DDG, I ain’t lieing. Now we both gotta get on OnlyFans and start f***ing. Two mil a month?! I’m sorry.”
But her monthly earnings have only increased since that April livestream.
In a recent interview she discussed the shocking reveal and why she’s no longer treating OnlyFans as a job.
About that moment in the livestream, Araujo explained: “That was a crazy moment because I didn’t even plan to share it.”
But she continued, “Since then, my numbers have gone up. I won’t give the exact figure, but it’s higher now.”
How did she manage to increase it beyond the $1.5-$2 million she was already making?
“I leaned into scaling. I hired a real team. I expanded into other platforms. I stopped treating this like a one-woman show and started treating it like a full-on business. That shift leveled everything up.”
It’s what many OnlyFans stars are focusing on now, having realized that when you’re just working for yourself, you only have so many hours in the day. But if you leverage the money you’ve made (millions, in Araujo’s case) and invest in yourself as a brand, you can see your earnings explode.
Many OnlyFans stars like Araujo are investing in marketing directors, strategies, and PR, as well as diversifying into different platforms so they won’t be hung out to dry if something happens to OnlyFans (which is rumored to be for sale).
The truth is that these OnlyFans stars aren’t just pretty faces. They are becoming business tycoons who are trying to create an empire outside of themselves.
