OnlyFans Creator Retires After Reaching Settlement In Lawsuit Against Shannon Sharpe

Following her sexual assault lawsuit against Shannon Sharpe reaching a settlement, model Gabriella Zuniga has announced she is retiring from OnlyFans.

In April 2025, Zuniga filed a $50 million lawsuit against Shannon Sharpe under the alias Jane Doe. Her attorney, Tony Buzbee, confirmed the two were in a relationship but accused the former NFL star of physical abuse and attempting to exert “complete control of [Zuniga’s] time and body.”

Sharpe swiftly denied the allegations, dismissing the lawsuit as a “shakedown” orchestrated by Buzbee, and announced plans to countersue the attorney for defamation and attempting to “take me down.”

By July 2025, Buzbee revealed that both parties had reached a resolution. Though details of the settlement remain confidential, it appears significant—Zuniga recently announced her retirement from OnlyFans.

“Today, I have decided to retire from [OnlyFans],” she wrote in a social media post.
“Thank you for the incredible support you’ve shown me over the past few years. This community has given me a life I could have never imagined. I’ll still be active on social media and have several new projects in the works that I can’t wait to share! I’m truly excited for this next chapter. I love you all forever and ever.”

Of course, the announcement came with mixed reception online from both sides of the situation. Zuniga’s immediate retirement suggests a heft settlement, something folks were quick to mention. “Shannon Sharpe told his daughter he was only giving her $30k for her wedding but then turned around and was giving out $30k for pum pum. That’s what he gets,” someone on X posted. “The white girl who was suing Shannon Sharpe has now “retired” from OF and is exploring new and exciting opportunities—her words. He literally RETIRED her via his deviancy,” someone else suggested.

Others were glad to see Zuinga come out on top, stating, “Game recognize game. So glad she got that bag.” Another posted, “So Shannon Sharpe ended up paying that lil girl off huh…..Shoulda done that from the GET GO! City boyz yall down bad.”

In the wake of the lawsuit, Sharpe, best known for his “Club Shay Shay” and “Nightcap” shows, announced that he and ESPN had mutually agreed to pause their working relationship until the start of the NFL preseason.

In a public statement, Sharpe addressed his relationship with Zuniga, calling it “100% consensual,” before confirming his temporary departure from the popular sports talk show First Take. The legal situation has also affected Sharpe’s podcast with former Cincinnati Bengals star Chad Johnson. “We’ve decided to postpone the Nightcap Tour,” Sharpe said. “We look forward to seeing you all in the summer of 2026. It’s going to be even bigger, even better. But for now, Ocho and I agree this is the best decision.”
