Young New Yorkers Volunteering Say Things Are Great


Conversations with young New Yorkers volunteering in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida say their get-out-the-vote efforts went really well today, people were enthusiastic, turnout was high, and poll places were Republican-challenger-free. “People are talking about a landslide,” said Blake Wilson, who attended Kerry’s overflowing hangar rally at midnight last night, then spent the day doing knock-and-drag in a run-down part of Toledo, Ohio. With an hour till the polls start closing, it may be time to get optimistic.
