Jewelry designer Guenevere Rodriguez sometimes gets bored of jewelry. So she filled her store, Special, with some other things she loves, like plants and clothes by young Thai designers, and painted the ceiling like a cloudy blue sky, just for good measure. But customers can’t miss two walls bedazzled with dangly earrings ($15 to $38) hanging on white lace and fishnet. Rodriguez mixes her own creations, like long vintage glass drops, with pairs amassed from her many travels, especially to South East Asia, like large crescents with stars hanging from them.
