Taste Talks kicked off its annual dining and food festival on a sweet note Friday, September 11, at the McCarren Hotel & Pool’s rooftop. Questlove, this year’s curator, also took care of the evening’s music. Partygoers noshed on confections prepared by famed pastry chef Dominique Ansel — sage-smoked brownies, ice cream sandwiches and matcha beignets — and sipped on wine by Brooklyn Oenology.
