New Yorkers Attend Vigils for Victims of Paris Terrorist Attacks

NEW YORK, NY – Hundreds attend a large vigil for the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris at Washington Square Park on November 14, 2015.

During the vigil, well-wishers lit and placed candles, flowers, and signed a series of posters to show their support for those affected by the attacks.

The previous night, another group held a candle-light vigil at Union Square, scrawling  well wishes, peace signs and prayers in colored chalk on the sidewalk.
