Though the holidays are a time to celebrate food on the table, they’re also the time to think about the leftovers and what happens to food waste. This educational pop up will unite New Yorkers who are helping to reduce food waste, with demonstrations and interactive workshops planned throughout the day.

Before putting out a few cookies for Santa, treat yourself to gingerbread, chocolate chip, and plenty more at this month’s holiday installment of the takedown series. Tickets are $20 for two hours of all you can eat cookies; reserve them here.
Bottomless Pizza, Rossopomodoro, 118 Greenwich Avenue, Sunday through December 24
Looking to feast before hibernating for the winter? For $20 per person, guests can enjoy unlimited pizza from any one of Rossopomodoro’s ten menu options. Tables will receive one pizza at a time and must eat their entire pie before the next one can be ordered. Pizza varieties range from traditional margherita, four cheeses, and one with brussesl sprouts, fonduta, and guanciale. The offer excludes tax, gratuity, and beverages, and all guests at the table must participate in order to receive the bottomless deal.
