To help battle the cold, Marco Canora and Nick Morgenstern are combining beef broth and traditional holiday drinks. Guests can now grab drinks like the St. Nick, a mix of gingered grass-fed beef broth with unsweetened chocolate and rich coconut milk, or an egg nog flavored broth.  The temporary take-out window will remain open daily for the next few months, operating from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday, with hours extended until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Dining at La Lunchonette One Last Time, La Lunchonette, 130 10th Avenue, Friday through New Years Eve

La Lunchonette its closing its doors after service on New Years Eve, but diners can grab one last Dover sole at this Chelsea institution, which has been its current location since 1988 and originally opened on Essex Street. For the final night of service, the restaurant is offering an $80 three course prix fixe with options like lobster bisque, stuffed suckling pig, and venison. The restaurant is also helping raise funds to support staff and their families during transition after closing. Guests interested in helping out can make a donation here.

Lupulo’s New Weekend Brunch, Lupulo, 835 Sixth Avenue, Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

George Mendes’ Portuguese inspired beer hall is now offering weekend brunch service. The menu includes an egg, hash brown, and piri-piri chicken sausage breakfast plate and Portuguese toast with port wine, Vermont maple syrup and country bacon.
