On Friday at noon, the ruby red ribbon was cut in front the brand-new Nintendo NY store at Rockefeller Center. Formerly known as Nintendo World (and before that, the Pokémon Center), the revamped destination for video game lovers opened its doors again on February 19.
Diehard fans lined the sidewalk outside the store hours before its grand opening — some of them even arrived decked out in Nintendo-themed cosplay, from Zelda characters to classics like Luigi.
