‘Buddies Summer in the City Presents Matthew Dear & Phillip Jung’

Autobrennt hosts an early evening summer preview. Matthew Dear has nailed genres from minimal to pop to acid to hard techno, both under his name and with aliases such as Jabberjaw, False, and Audion. He’s one of the stars of Detroit’s Ghostly International but he’s also pinch-hit for Get Physical, contributing a volume to their Body Language mix series. It’s fitting that he’s paired tonight with Phillip Jung, who’s one half of M.A.N.D.Y. and among Get Physical’s founders.
