The ban of Bonnie Blue from the subscription-based platform OnlyFans was shocking to many — almost as shocking as the sex stunts Blue has performed to become such a notorious name on the platform.
The UK based creator whose real name is Tia Billinger is speaking out about the ban, leading some to speculate that she was targeted due to the potential sale of the platform that has been rumored for weeks.
Speaking in a recent interview, Blue said “It’s clearly unfair and it’s frustrating because I’ve been singled out and it’s just because I get more press and more views. It’s not because what I did was dangerous. I’ve been the only content creator that’s happily slept with the numbers I have and have walked away smiling each time.”
That last statement was a dig at Lily Phillips, a fellow OnlyFans star creator who has also participated in several similar sex stunts — though not at the level of Blue. While Blue went viral for breaking a world record by sleeping with 1,057 men in 12 hours (and was smiling after), Phillips was in tears after bedding 100 men in a day.
It’s Blue’s dedication to salaciousness that has her name on the tip of everyone’s lips recently, but it was allegedly her most recent stunt that led to her ban. The porn star was planning a “petting zoo” challenge where she would be naked and tied to a glass box while 2,000 men had a little time with her.
Blue said she had been given a warning previously, but that it was related to a different creator’s event. (There are so many these days it’s hard to keep track.) But she then got a 7-day ban after announcing her petting zoo event so she decided to cancel it.
“I removed all the evidence of the event and even went on TikTok, Instagram and Twitter and said, ‘Hey, the event is no longer going ahead. The event’s been canceled,’” Blue said.
“The day before the account was due to come back, they gave me a permanent ban.”
An OnlyFans spokesperson refused to speak on this specific case but did reveal that extreme challenges were not allowed on their platform, though other creators are clearly posting content from their own challenges. The spokesperson did say that “Any breach of our Terms of Service results in content or account deactivation.”
But it doesn’t seem that way to Blue. While she was assured that all OnlyFans creators were treated the same, she’s the only one of the plethora of creators trying these sex stunts who has actually been booted from the platform.
Blue wonders if it’s all the press she’s gotten that has OnlyFans spooked. She claims to have more than 1 billion views per month across her social media platforms (though she has been banned from a few platforms recently), and explained that she thinks all the press led to her ban.
“If OnlyFans was to have come forward and said, ‘We didn’t like the amount of press Bonnie was getting, or it was bad for the company,’ I couldn’t have argued that because yes, I get more press and yes, I do get a lot of bad press as well,” she said. “But telling me I’m treated the same as everybody else is clearly just not true.”
We’ll see if OnlyFans does go on to ban the other women making similar content while they continue to look for a buyer for the company.
