First Trail Runner Gains OnlyFans Sponsorship

The American joins other athletes on the platform mostly known for explicit content.

Two-time Hardrock 100 champion Sabrina Stanley is the first trail runner to be sponsored by OnlyFans, a subscription-based platform that is mostly known for its explicit adult content. The Colorado-based trail runner closed the sponsorship recently, joining the ranks of other athletes, Olympians and UFC fighters, who have also signed sponsorship agreements as the platform tries to rebrand as more than porn.

While some athletes still question if joining something with such a stigma is worth the scrutiny, many are running to OnlyFans for the chance to connect with fans, share behind the scenes content, and yes, make some extra cash.

Stanley announced the sponsorship on her Instagram account, sharing: “I couldn’t be more excited to join the OnlyFans team of athletes and their diverse community of creators. This sponsorship allows me to share my journey in new and exciting ways while continuing to push my limits in the mountains.”

It also seems this wasn’t a rush decision, as the trail runner added: “Honestly, I’ve wanted to join OnlyFans for years. This sponsorship is about more than just racing—it lets me share my whole journey, ups and downs included, in ways I never could before.”

Stanley’s account will offer a detailed look at her life and training as an elite runner, including workout tips, race preparation, and the highs and lows of training, as well as the chance to interact with her directly. Subscribers can see where she lives and trains at over 9,000 feet above sea level in Silverton, Colorado.

She’s not the only athlete using the platform for behind-the-scenes content. French tennis professional Chloe Paquet recently joined for the same reason (though she was not officially sponsored by the platform. When asked why she decided to open her account, Paquet said: “I really like the idea of OnlyFans to create a really good environment to connect the fans and the athletes. I want to show a little bit behind the scenes. Everybody watches tennis tournaments but they don’t know exactly what life is like behind, so I want to show a little bit of that for the fans. I think it’s a really good idea. I will post on here about my tennis life. I want to show the fans how I practice. I want to show what kind of fitness I do. I also want to show what I am before the match or after the match.”

These two athletes join countless others on the platform, including Olympic athletes like New Zealand rower Robbie Manson, Canadian pole vaulter Alysha Newman, and divers Timo Barthel and Diego Belleza Isaias.

The platform has even added a sports section to their site, featuring OnlyFans athletes and their current successes. With tennis pros like Sachia Vick and UFC fighters like Ketlen Vieira, there’s a little something for everyone who is interested in sports on OnlyFans these days. And as more athletes join the platform, you’ll have even more options soon.
