nah, i agree with fred. gowns, and now ema, always sort of made music that sounded like you were on drugs, or made broad, not necessarily personal (more reflective of society as a whole) references to drugs/users (as well as many other things). i don't believe that this entire album is about drugs, and that's all. i don't care if erika told me it was straight to my face. i think this album's about a lot of things. it's about whatever we want it to be about. i think erika probably lies sometimes, as well. i think she'd tell you that, too. she probably wants it to mean whatever it means to us when we hear it.
