Stephanie...You have written the best review of this dog-of-a movie I have read. I have never been to a movie where such a steady stream of people walked out! In trying to capture Noah's rationality (or lack there of), Aronofsky has made a biblical film that is void of any inspiration or uplift. When the 1st images of the rock Transformers showed up, there was audible hissing in the theater. There is a fine line that a film maker must take between biblical accuracy and sci fi. Unfortunately, for me, the director veered too much into sci fi while trampling what is actually written about Noah. By doing so, I could not enjoy the movie. (For example, did Noah's wife really use magic to conjure up an Old Testament version of an EPT pregnancy test?!@). This movie is more of a cross between Game of Thrones and Merlin than any biblical representation I have seen on the big screen.
